Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya have been summoned to appear at DCI headquarters on Wednesday at 2 pm.
Senator Sifuna says even though he is yet to know the reasons for the summons, he will honour the summons and appear before the officers.
“I will be presenting myself at DCI headquarters at 2 PM this afternoon in response to their summons,” he said.
Sifuna says had received a message from his lawyer that he had been summoned alongside Oparanya.
“I have been summoned to the DCI. Though they have not sent me a written summon. I just heard it from Danstan Omari who is the coalition lawyer and they said they want me and Oparanya to appear before them,” he said.

However, Sifuna questioned why junior coalition members were being summoned by DCI.
He says that if the government has a problem with Azimio leader Raila Odinga, they should move to arrest him and not intimidate Azimio members.
