The Consolidated Bank of Kenya has invited competent, qualified, and self-driven candidates to apply for eight job vacancies across various departments.
In a statement dated January 16, 2026, the bank set the application deadline for Friday, January 30, 2026, noting that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
“We seek to recruit competent, qualified, and self-driven persons to fill the following vacant positions,” the bank said in a statement.
The recruitment drive is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce across key departments.
Consolidated Bank has a strong presence in major business hubs nationwide and is seeking professionals to support its growth strategy and enhance customer service. The vacancies are in management, corporate banking, audit, business development, and operational support.
Consolidated Bank of Kenya Announced Job Vacancies
Consolidated Bank has listed vacancies for Kenyans to apply. Among the advertised roles, the bank has openings for Branch Managers based in Nakuru and Embu.
The Branch Manager will report to the Head of Retail and SME and will be responsible for running the branch operations, implementing business plans, managing staff performance, maintaining operational risk guidelines, and ensuring excellent customer service.

According to the bank, interested candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized university and professional banking qualifications such as AKIB or CPA (K).
They should also have at least 7 years of experience in general banking, including 3 years in branch management, and demonstrate strong leadership, people management, analytical, and communication skills.
Interested and qualified candidates are advised to submit hard-copy applications, including a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of certificates, and contact information for three referees to the Head of Human Resources at Consolidated Bank of Kenya Limited, Nairobi.
The bank is also seeking qualified professionals to fill other key positions across the organization, including Information Systems Auditor, Project Analyst, Relationship Officer (Corporate Banking), Business Development Officer, Portfolio Monitoring Officer, Premises Assistant, and Chauffeur (Executive Driver).
Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Bank Manager
According to consolidated bank, a candidate should be able to:
- Implement the Bank’s strategy at the branch level to grow the customer base while concurrently increasing branch liabilities and assets.
- Oversee customer service delivery, maintenance, and improvement of Retail Banking service standards in order to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Formulate and implement branch business plans, forecasts, and budgets, and ensure their control and periodic reviews.
- Provide guidance and leadership to staff and be responsible for their training and development.
- Manage staff performance to ensure the delivery of set targets through diligent performance management.
- Implement and monitor the operational risk management guidelines for the branch.
- Support marketing initiatives and monitor product performance, providing regular feedback.
- Maintain the look, feel, and physical security of the branch premises, as well as the safety of staff and customers.
