The Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Amin Mohammed has claimed that the main suspect in the Kware dumpsite killings in Mukuru kwa Njenga has confessed to killing his wife.
According to Amin, the 33-year-old, Collins Jomaisi Khalisia, confessed to being a serial killer and that his wife was his first suspect.
Additionally, the officers have said that they discovered items from his house that could have been used in the murders.
When he was arrested, the suspect is claimed to have taken DCI officers to his single room house in Kware area, located about 100 meters from the crime scene.

The officers then conducted a quick search in the house and recovered several items which they noted could have been used in the execution of the crimes.
“The suspect Confesses that First Victim was His Wife. Upon the arrest of the suspect, he led out officers to his single room, rental in Kware located about 100 meters from the dam where the dismembered bodies were discovered,” said Amin.

Items Found in the Suspect’s House
Some of the items discovered by DCI officers included sim cards, smart phones, a laptop, a pink handbag, female under wears, rolls of bhang among other items.
“We were able to recover 24 Airtel sim card holders, with new sim cards. 8 smart phones and 2 feature phones. One laptop and one hard drive.
“Two flash drives and a memory card. One machete that we believe was being used to dismember the victims. 12 Nilon sacks similar to those used to stuff bodies and quarry dam. Six IDs for men and two for women.
“One pink female handbag, two pink female panties, 5 rolls of cannabis sativa, one pair of industrial rubber gloves, 4 huge clear sellotapes, one reflector jackets, two title deeds, notebooks and assorted documents, ” Amin said.
The suspect is also reported to have been on his way to watch the Ero Copa 2024 football tournament when he was apprehended by police.

Other Confessions Detailed by DCI
Moreover, Amin said that when interrogated further, the suspect confessed to have lured, killed and disposed 42 female bodies at the dumping site. All murdered between 2022 and July 11, 2024.
The DCI called families who suspect that their loved ones had fallen victim to the serial killer to come forward and report to the nearest police station or a DCI office.
“From our investigations, all the victims have been murdered in the same style. The suspect’s house and the dumping site will remain active crime scenes.”
