Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has alleged that the money that President Ruto issues to different political meetings to State House is from gold smuggled in Sudan.
While speaking at the official launch of the People’s Liberation Party owned by Martha Karua, Gachagua stated that money is paid in US dollars and is hidden in a container.

“Tuliona error kwa budget juzi ya Ksh 76 billion hiyo ilikuwa ni pesa ya kuhonga wakenya. Pale Karen kwa ile ya mtu wa Mr. Yes sir iko container ya 40 Feet imejazwa pesa iko ingine hapa state house iko na dollars. Sasa hizo pesa ni za kuhonga viongozi
“Sasa pale State House iko dollars. Apo inalipwa in dollars na nafikiri hiyo dollars ni ya gold from Sudan.”

“We recently saw an error in the budget amounting to Ksh 76 billion—that was money meant to bribe Kenyans. Over there in Karen, at the residence of ‘Mr. Yes Sir,’ there’s a 40-foot container filled with cash, and there’s more money in State House in dollars. That money is meant for bribing leaders
“Now, there are dollars at State House. Payments there are made in dollars, and I think those dollars are from gold from Sudan,” Gachagua alleged.

The former DP accused Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen and Lands CS Alice Wahome of preparing a cabinet memo intended to attract investors under the pretenses of the AHP.
“If you check the prison land here in Nairobi West, it is worth a trillion and people are given to build houses.
Those houses are built by money deducted from the payslips and sold back to you. So, it is not as if they are giving out the land for free. Ruto and his team, have sold all prison lands across the country and a cabinet memo had been prepared,” Gachagua said.
