These projections contrast the high daytime temperatures expected in the Coast, North-eastern, and South-eastern lowland regions, where temperature levels are set to range from a high of 30°C to 37°C.
As such, the Meteorological Department advises residents in the aforementioned areas to take necessary precautions to cope with the varying weather conditions.
Similarly, residents are encouraged to stay warm and take care on the roads, as the combination of rain and low temperatures can lead to slippery conditions and reduced visibility.
Hot Weather in other regions
At the same time, the weather department said that the rest of the country will be generally hot and dry.
According to the Kenya Met, the high temperatures are to be experienced mostly during afternoons which are expected to be covered by sunny intervals while most nights will remain partly cloudy.
