The employee of the cyber cafe noted that the incident has derailed their operations, and they are yet to recover from the losses.

The Customers Planned to Rob the Business
Eucabeth explained that the two seemed to have had plans to steal from the business.
She said they were regular customers and had full information about the premises.
“It seems they had plans to steal because they never paid through MPESA, they normally paid in cash. It is like there is something they had been investigating because when they came, they had full information about this place,” she stated.
The case was reported at Mihang’o police station in Utawala on January 9 and investigations are still ongoing.
The employee said they gave the police the CCTV footage and also reported the matter to the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
