Content creator Baba Talisha, who fundraised over Ksh 8 million for Brian Chira’s send-off, has called out Chira’s grandmother for being greedy and ungrateful.
This is after Chira’s grandmother called upon the TikTok online community to buy her land and build her a house somewhere else.
Taking to his Instagram platform, Baba Talisha accused her of squandering the money raised by well-wishers.
Chira’s grandmother asks Kenyans to build her another house
“I feel so ashamed seeing someone who has been helped by the online community, especially for being greedy and ungrateful,” stated Baba Talisha.
“Ksh8.4 million collected. Remained with Ksh7.4 million and less than one year down, nothing,” added the content creator.

“No one in the history of fundraising has ever been helped like her but it was not just enough for her,” stated Baba Talisha.
Chira’s grandmother took to her TikTok account, asking Kenyans to have a sit-down and discuss how they would move her to another location. She stated that she needed to move to a place that was closer to the road because of security reasons.
She also gave the online community an option to build her an electric fence as opposed to moving her, stating that she is okay with both options.
Baba Talisha accused of mishandling burial funds
The statement by Chira’s grandmother, Ester Njeri, has elicited criticism online with most people making fun of her and mocking her.
Rapper Khaligraph Jones recently posted a photo of his mansion and a fan asked him whether he would accommodate Chira’s grandmother before netizens build her a house.
In response, Khaligraph stated that he would move his family to the servant quarters and leave him his main house.

“Bring her here, we will leave her the main house and move into the SQ,” stated Khaligraph.
Soon after Chira’s tragic passing, Baba Talisha whose real name is Faustine Lipuku rallied fans of Chira and strangers to contribute money towards his send-off.
Chira’s grandmother later came out to claim that Faustine mishandled the money raised. This forced him to give a detailed breakdown online of how he spent the money. He also stated that he had forgiven her.
