Opposition leader Raila Odinga wants Members of Parliament elected under the Azimio coalition and who have since pledged allegiance to the ruling Kenya Kwanza coalition to resign.
Raila says all Azimio elected leaders who have decided to work with the Kenya Kwanza coalition must resign and seek fresh mandate from the people who elected them
Speaking during the Azimio parliamentary group retreat in Machakos, Raila said that all elected leaders who have decided to work with the President Ruto administration are traitors.
According to the ODM party leader, the MPs going to meet President Ruto at State House are insincere
“Gone are the days when leaders would go and kneel before the President and plead for development favours,” he said.
