Teresia Biography

Teresa Wairimu is an evangelist who ministers at the Faith Evangelistic Ministry based in Nairobi Kenya a church which she is a founder.

She has dedicated her life to spreading the Gospel and empowering communities through her ministry, which has a global reach.

Teresia has had notable interactions with people in positions of power.

She has been seen at various events with prominent figures including President William Ruto, the First Lady Rachael Ruto and Chief Justice Martha Koome.

President William Ruto has invited her severally in religious functions organized at state house.

The First Lady, Rachel Ruto has also been spotted attending some of her sermons.

Her ministry’s influence and her role as a spiritual leader have brought her into contact with many high-profile individuals in Kenya.

In addition to her close relationship with the Ruto family, Teresia also has strong ties with former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The former President invited her at several state functions especially meetings with religious leaders.

Career of Teresia Wanjiru

Teresia founded the Faith Evangelical Ministry in 1989, and it has been in existence for more than thirty-five years.

The ministry emphasizes sharing a practical message of the Gospel, showing compassion to the impoverished and needy, and witnessing acts of healing and miracles.

Teresia is passionate about spreading the Gospel of God’s Kingdom in Kenya and around the world.

That is why she expanded her ministry beyond Kenya to countries like the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA).

Her missions abroad, over the years, include Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, India, Singapore, Canada, U.S.A, United Kingdom, Brazil, Sweden, Norway, South Africa, Faroe Island, Jamaica among others.

Teresia worked as a kindergarten teacher before she dedicated her life to ministry.

Teresia’s spiritual journey began in 1977 when she gave her life to Christ.

This marked the start of her deep commitment to her faith.

Reverend Teresia Wairimu founded Faith Evangelistic Ministry (FEM) following a profound spiritual experience in 1985.

She felt a divine calling to serve God and spread the Gospel after an encounter where she heard God’s voice and saw a vision.

This experience deeply moved her and set her on a path to evangelism, aiming to bring hope, salvation, and transformation to people’s lives.

Beyond providing spiritual nourishment through her religious work, Teresia is also an author.

She has written several books which inspires people include:

Education Background

Teresia Wairimu attended University of Nairobi and obtained a degree in Theology.

Before joining the University of Nairobi, Teresa Wairimu pursued her high school education in Ngiriambu Girls High School.
