The County Public Service Board of Bungoma is inviting applications from competent and qualified individuals to fill vacant positions in the Department of Education & Vocational Training.
In a notice published on March 13, the county listed 364 job openings, with the majority of the vacancies meant for teachers.
“The County Public Service Board of Bungoma wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions in the Department of Education & Vocational Training,” read part of the notice.
Candidates are required to submit their applications by 5:00 p.m. on April 2, 2026.

General Requirements
The following general requirements apply to all positions:

Possess relevant academic qualifications (degrees, diplomas, or certificates) as required for the specific position.

Hold professional registration, where applicable (e.g., Teachers Service Commission or TVETA).

Demonstrate strategic leadership or pedagogical training for senior and teaching roles.

Exhibit proven merit and competence, reflected in work performance and achievements.

Proficient in computer applications.

Have relevant work experience, typically three (3) or more years for senior positions.

Sound knowledge of policies and curriculum frameworks related to Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) and vocational training.

Interested candidates should submit applications in a sealed envelope, clearly indicating the position applied for in the top-left corner.
Applications must include a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), certified copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials, National ID or Passport, and any other supporting documents.
Bungoma County residents must indicate their sub-county and ward of residence.
All applications should reach the undersigned by 5:00 p.m. on April 2, 2026, at the County Public Service Board Offices next to the Governor’s Office.
