Kericho County Announces 456 Job Vacancies For Teachers, Security Warden And Other Professionals

The Kericho County Government has announced 456 job vacancies across 17 positions in its latest recruitment drive.

According to a vacancy notice published by the County Public Service Board (CPSB) on Tuesday, July 21, the recruitment targets professionals in administration, human resource management, disaster management, education, records management, supply chain management, enforcement and support services.

“Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012, the County Government of Kericho invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions,” read the notice in part.

Among the advertised positions, the county is seeking to recruit 210 Assistant ECDE Teacher III/ECDE Teacher III officers, making it the largest category of vacancies.

The county has also advertised 140 Security Warden III (Enforcement Officer) positions, followed by 51 Youth Polytechnic Instructor III vacancies.

At the same time, the county is recruiting 13 Administration Officer II/Village Administrator II officers and 13 Administration Officer III/Village Administrator III officers.

Other vacancies include 13 Administration Officer III/Village Administrator III officers, five Chief Officers (re-advertised positions), five Fireman III officers and four Senior Human Resource Management Officers.

How to Apply

The County Public Service Board said all applications must be submitted online through its recruitment portal https://psbkericho.co.ke/vacancies before the deadline.

Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of:

* National ID card or passport

* Curriculum Vitae (CV)

* Academic certificates

* Professional certificates

* Other relevant testimonials

The board warned that applications submitted by hand or through the post will not be considered.

Qualified candidates have until Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to submit their applications online.

Shortlisted Candidates

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Successful candidates will also be required to present valid clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Certificate of Good Conduct), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

A registered Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) will also be required for submission.

The county also cautioned applicants against paying money to individuals claiming they can influence the recruitment process, warning that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
