Kiriri Women’s University has announced numerous job opportunities across administration, academics, procurement, hospitality, ICT, and maintenance. In a notice on Friday, May 15, 2026, the university said it was also hiring a Deputy Vice-Chancellor. 

According to the institution, candidates applying for these positions must submit applications individually to different email addresses, depending on the nature of their expertise. Here are details for the vacancies. 

Deputy Vice Chancellor （Academic Affairs）

Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) is one of the key positions offered by Kiriri Women’s University. The appointee will undertake academic planning and policy implementation, conduct examinations, coordinate research, and collaborate with other universities and research organizations.

Furthermore, the varsity said candidates for this position should hold a Doctorate in the relevant field and have 10 years of experience in academia or university administration.

Those who meet the criteria for Associate Professors and Full Professors will have an added advantage.

Maintenance Officer and Catering Officer

The task of the Maintenance Officer will be to ensure that the infrastructure and institutional maintenance services are taken care of, whereas the Catering Officer will handle the hospitality and catering services in the university.

Individuals applying for these posts should have qualifications related to engineering, hospitality, or institutional maintenance.

ICT Technician

At the same time, Kiriri Women’s University is seeking to hire ICT Technicians to support information technology operations and infrastructure management.

Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

Registrar Administration

The position of Registrar Administration has also been announced by Kiriri Women’s University, where the individual will be expected to provide leadership in administrative activities.

Interested individuals should hold a master’s degree in either administration, human resource management, public administration, educational administration, or a similar field. In addition, one should have at least 9 years of experience in administrative duties.

University Librarian

Among the vacant positions is that of University Librarian, whose job description entails supervising the institution’s library services, digital learning materials, and research materials.

Kiriri Women’s University noted that one should have attained a master’s degree in library science or a related field and have at least 5 years’ experience, preferably in an institution of higher learning.

Procurement Officer

The office bearer will be responsible for overseeing the tendering and procurement processes in the institution.

Moreover, individuals interested in this position should have attained a master’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

They should also be registered members of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and have at least 8 years of experience in the relevant field.

Application Requirements and Deadlines

The deadline for the applications is dependent on the position advertised and varies from those that shall have their applications close on Friday, May 23, 2025, to others whose deadline will be Friday, May 29, 2026.
