The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 94 job vacancies across its headquarters and campuses.

The institution has called on qualified Kenyans to apply for positions in teaching, ICT, finance, human resources, administration and support services.

In April 2026, the College said it planned to recruit additional lecturers to improve student-to-staff ratios and strengthen the quality of health training.

“KMTC Board of Directors seeks to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at the Kenya Medical Training College, Headquarters and its Campuses,” read the notice.

The latest advertisement has the most vacancies in support and administrative positions, with 10 vacancies each for Clerical Officer II, Security Warden III, Driver III and Office Assistant III.

The College is also seeking five Senior Lecturers in Pharmacy and has advertised eight positions for Lecturer II, Mortuary Science. The Mortuary Science position has been re-advertised.

Other professional positions include one Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology, five Accountant II/Finance Officer II positions and five Human Resource Management Officer II positions.

KMTC has further advertised five positions each for Library Assistant III, Supply Chain Management Assistant III, Assistant Office Administrator III and ICT Assistant III, as well as five Artisan III positions.

The vacancies span different KMTC job grades, from Grade 4 to Grade 13, offering opportunities for candidates with varying levels of professional experience and qualifications.

The recruitment follows the College’s earlier efforts to increase its academic workforce. KMTC said in April that it recruited 600 personnel in 2025 following a presidential directive and that it needed additional lecturers to support the growing number of students.

How To Apply for the KMTC Vacancies

Interested candidates have been directed to submit their applications online through the KMTC recruitment portal http://recruit.kmtc.ac.ke/jobs.

The College has made it clear that it will not accept hard-copy applications.

Applicants must provide all information requested in the advertisement and have been warned against submitting incorrect information.

KMTC has also cautioned applicants not to include academic or professional qualifications that they had not obtained by the closing date of the advertisement.

Those shortlisted for interviews will be required to present the original National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates and transcripts.

The College has further warned that presenting fake certificates or documents is a criminal offence. It has also stated that any form of canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.

Applicants can use the KMTC recruitment portal to submit their applications and should ensure their information matches the academic and professional requirements for the position.

The application deadline is Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Candidates must provide documents in accordance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

The required documents include clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), and the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

Applicants must also provide a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

KMTC has encouraged youth, women, persons with disabilities, and minorities with the required qualifications to apply, consistent with its commitment to equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
