Daniel Epuyo Nanok is a Kenyan politician serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Turkana West Constituency.
He is currently in his third consecutive term, having first been elected in 2013.
Nanok is a member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
Educational Background of Daniel Epuyo
Daniel Epuyo began his formal education at AIC Lokichogio Primary School, where he completed primary level education with the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) between 1975 and 1981.
He then advanced to Kabarak High School, earning his O-Level qualification from 1982 to 1985, and followed it up with A-Level studies from 1986 to 1987.
Later, he proceeded to Moi University, where he attained a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree in Mathematics and Economics between 1988 and 1992.
Continuing in academia, he earned a Master of Philosophy in Education Management and Policy Studies from the same institution between 2005 and 2009.
Career life
Daniel Epuyo began his professional career within the education sector, serving as a Graduate Teacher with the Teachers Service Commission from 1992 to 1995, before advancing to the role of Principal between 1995 and 2005.
He then worked as a District Education Officer (DEO) in the Ministry of Education from 2005 to 2007.
In 2010, he joined the Turkana Pastoralist Development Organisation (TUPADO) as a Programme Manager, a position he held until 2012.
He also contributed to national education reform as a member of the CDF Review Taskforce in 2009–2010 and worked as an Education Consultant for the Lutheran World Federation in Kakuma between 2008 and 2009.
He was first elected Member of Parliament for Turkana West Constituency in March 2013 and has served through successive terms, including the present (13th) Parliament.

During his time in the 11th Parliament (2013–2017), he served on the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning & Trade and the Budget & Appropriations Committee.
In the 12th and 13th Parliaments (2017–present), he has continued service on the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning & Trade, and is a member of the Parliamentary Broadcasting & Library Committee.
