Janet Sitienei Jepkemnboi is a Kenyan politician and the current member of parliament for the Turbo Constituency.
After failing twice in elections, Janet Sitienei won the Turbo Constituency as an independent in 2017.
She was later re-elected on the UDA ticket as a member of parliament in the 2022 general elections under the United Democratic Alliance(UDA) Party.

Janet Jepkemboi Sitienei began her formal education at Osoronghai Primary School, attending from 1970 to 1974, before completing the Certificate of Primary Education at Holy Rosary between 1975 and 1978.
Sitienei then attended Turbo Girls Secondary School, where she earned the Kenya Certificate of Education from 1979 to 1982, followed by Tumutumu High School for her A-Levels between 1983 and 1984.
She went on to Egerton College, obtaining a Diploma in Agriculture and Home Management between 1986 and 1989.
Later on, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics from Egerton University between 2007 and 2011.

Additionally, Janet Sitienei served as the District Agricultural Development Officer in Bungoma from 2007 to 2012.
She transitioned into politics, serving as Political Advisor to the Uasin Gishu County Governor from 2015 to 2017, before successfully running for Parliament.
She then served as the Member of Parliament for the Turbo Constituency from 2017 to 2022 and was re-elected in the 2022 general elections.
