Michael Wambugu Wainaina, popularly known as Mt. Kenya, as per his business in Gikomba, is a Kenyan politician and the current Member of Parliament for Othaya Constituency.
He was elected in August 2022 on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, and he is serving his first term in the National Assembly.
In 2017, he ran as an independent but came in second after Mr Mugambi (Jubilee).
