Early Life and Education
Peter Mbogho began his education at Zare Primary School between 1973 and 1979, where he sat for the Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) and scored 34 points.
He later joined Shimo la Tewa Secondary School in 1980 and completed his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in 1983, attaining Division II.
Determined to strengthen his business knowledge, he pursued a Diploma in Business Management at Mombasa Polytechnic from 1984 to 1987.
Career
Professional career
From 2000 to 2021, Peter Mbogho served as Director at Shake Distributors Limited, a firm that contributed significantly to regional trade.
During the same period, he also directed Mngiwa General Contractors, expanding his reach into construction and infrastructure development.

In addition, he was appointed Director of Tevevo Water and Sewerage Company from 2018 to 2020.
Political career
Peter Mbogho made his debut in politics during the 2022 general elections, vying for the Mwatate parliamentary seat under the Jubilee Party.
He won the seat with 11,317 votes out of a total of about 26,921 cast, defeating ODM candidate Christopher Mwadime Mwambingu, who secured 5,953 votes.
After his victory, he embarked on a gratitude tour in Mwatate town, promising to serve his constituents with dedication.
