Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz recently took to his Instagram stories to share some advice for men regarding relationships.
According to the singer, men should focus on making money before pursuing love because women will always be more interested in a man’s financial status than his “stupid real love.”
Diamond Platnumz also warned men that they should be prepared for a woman to leave them if they experience financial difficulties or fail to provide the material possessions they desire. He says, “Once you are rich, every woman wants money from you, not your stupid real love. Ndugu zangu tafuteni ela!”

This is not the first time Diamond Platnumz has shared his thoughts on the intersection of money and relationships. He has previously emphasized that a man’s value is often determined by how much money he makes and what he can bring to the table.
In January, the musician addressed young men similarly: “Always prepare for women to leave you. I don’t care how much money, clout, or status you have; you must prepare for the day she leaves you.”
Diamond Platnumz’s comments come in the wake of a controversial statement by his former partner, Zari Hassan. The Ugandan socialite recently told women they should cheat for money if they can. While her remarks were met with criticism and accusations of promoting infidelity, she later clarified that she had been misinterpreted.
