Kenyan musician Nonini has responded to his former music producer Clemmo’s recent comments regarding a lawsuit settlement.
Clemmo, the founder of Calif Records, which was Nonini’s former label, stated that he deserves a share of the money awarded in a lawsuit against influencer Brian Mutinda. The lawsuit was in relation to a song that Clemmo claims was his idea and earned Nonini millions.

Nonini quickly responded to Clemmo’s comments, stating that he would address the issue once he had finalized his ongoing lawsuit with Mutinda. He said everyone has the right to appeal any court decision per the constitution. Nonini added that Clemmo also had the opportunity to sue when the song was used without their consent.
He concluded by stating that he could be petty about many things and warned Clemmo that they could go down that road if he wanted to. Nonini urged everyone to focus on the current lawsuit and requested to be excluded from further discussions.
