Absa Bank Kenya Plc, formerly Barclays Bank Kenya Limited, is a commercial bank in Kenya operating as a subsidiary of Absa Group Limited. 

Absa Bank Kenya PLC is part of Absa Group Limited, an African financial services group listed on the JSE in South Africa and is one of Africa’s largest diversified financial services groups with a presence in 12 countries across the continent and around 42,000 employees.

Moreover, the Vanguard Group (US, AU) has a 3.85% stake, while Investec Securities (SA) and Schroders (UK, AU, SG, US, JP) hold 3.50% and 3.20% respectively. Old Mutual (SA) accounts for 3.18%, and Sanlam Investment Management (SA) owns 2.77%.
