Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has announced the expulsion of Daadab Member of Parliament (MP) Farah Maalim as deputy party leader.
Kalonzo made the announcement during a presser on Wednesday, January 15, stating that the deputy party leader had violated the rights of Kenyans.
Additionally, Farah Maalim has been accused of abusing Kenyan mothers, with President William Ruto welcoming his remarks.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Farah Maalim who until now has been Wiper democratic Party Deputy Leader stands expelled from the party for violating the constitution and the rights of Kenyans and even abusing Kenyan mothers,” announced Kalonzo.

Kioni Calls for Arrest of Ruto
At the same time, the Jubilee Party Secretary General asserted that Farah Maalim alongside other politicians had proven that Kenyans were on their own.
Consequently, he called on Kenyans to prepare to take over the nation from the president, adding that Ruto should be arrested from the State House.
“We must prepare to do what the people of South Korea have done. It is time for us to go and arrest William Ruto from State House because we are on our own,” he said.
Further, Kioni called out the president for finding amusement in abuse to the people of Kenya from his leaders.
“When we have the likes of Sudi, Kamket, Kimani Ichungwa and Farah Maalim allowing the utterances that we have heard from their mouths, in the presence of William Ruto
“And to his amusement, because he was the one clapping louder than the rest of the people, it meant that the centre was not holding and as Kenyans,” added Kioni.

Farah Maalim Rejects Appointment
The Wiper Party raised concerns about the gazettement of former party officials after the Mp rejected his appointment as deputy party leader in October 2024, stating the appointments had been overtaken by events.
In an October 7 statement, Wiper Secretary General Shakila Abdalla clarified that the party had formally notified the ORPP of changes in office location and officials, fully complying with legal requirements.
Abdalla explained that a unanimous decision to de-whip Farah Maalim as Deputy Party Leader was made during a National Executive Council meeting on July 10, 2024.
However, the Disciplinary Committee, which was handling the matter, wrote to Maalim on August 20 and September 24, but he did not respond.
