Court Orders on Public Participation
The High court of Kenya on October 4 issued an order compelling the National Assembly to conduct a second round of public participation in the impeachment motion against the Deputy President.
In a ruling, the High court ordered a fresh exercise at the constituency level to cover a wider scope of participants.
Earlier, Gachagua launched a campaign to counter his impeachment, calling on Kenyans to turn out in large numbers to defend him during public participation, as a sign of patriotism.
