Harrison Mumia is the president of the Atheist Society in Kenya, who scored an A- in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE in 1998 from Aquinas High School.
Mumia is a web developer, founder, and CEO of Dovty Digital Technologies.
He has worked in several organizations, including the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

Harrison Mumia was born and raised in Kenya.

He attended Aquinas High School, completing his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 1998, scoring an A-.
After high school, Mumia joined Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in 1999 pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, specializing in Web Technologies, and graduated in 2003
During his time at JKUAT, he completed a web-based final-year project and developed hands-on skills in Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Java, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and other web technologies.
Mumia later joined Daystar University in 2011 to pursue a Master of Arts in Communications, specializing in Corporate Communications.
At Daystar, his studies focused on managing internal and external corporate communications, crafting messages for stakeholders, and building coherence, credibility, and ethical engagement.
Career Background
Currently, Mumia is the President of the Atheists Society in Kenya, a position he has held since 2016.
In this role, he leads national advocacy for secularism and the rights of non-religious citizens, organizes awareness campaigns, and engages with stakeholders to promote freedom of belief.

He is also the Founder and CEO of Dovty Digital Technologies, a company that offers web design, e-commerce, and digital marketing services.
From June 2021 to December 2022, Mumia served as Web Specialist at SASAdoctor, where he was responsible for the architecture, design, and development of high-volume web service applications.
At SASAdoctor, he managed Hypertext Preprocessor PHP, Structured Query Language (SQL) for Managing Databases, MySQL, and WordPress systems.
He also worked Digital Communications specialist at SASAdoctor, overseeing all digital communications, designing campaigns, and managing online engagement.
From June 2019 to October 2020, Mumia was a Digital Specialist at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, managing digital platforms, web development, and online engagement initiatives.
In 2019, he served as Head of Digital Communications at Savannah Healthcare Services Limited, developing and managing online marketing campaigns for the institution, effectively expanding audiences and increasing awareness of the medical services at the facility.
From October 2007 to June 2018, Mumia was Digital Marketing Manager at the Central Bank of Kenya, where he led web and social media strategies,
During this period, he also served as Website and Social Media Administrator, managing web development projects, the Microsoft SharePoint intranet, and cross-departmental digital initiatives.
He has also worked at the Kenya Institute of Monetary Studies as the Digital Marketing Manager, developing the school’s overall digital communication strategy.
