As dawn broke over Nairobi, Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki was already on the ground at the Talanta Sports City Stadium.
The early morning inspection was a strategic move to assess construction progress as Kenya races against the clock to prepare for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Deputy President noted that 31 other stadia are being built across Kenya, and this is the most extensive sports development programme ever initiated in Kenya.
