Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jared Ojuok, HSC, a distinguished officer in the National Police Service, has been recognized both locally and internationally for his outstanding service, compassionate leadership, and dedication to professional policing.
Ojuok, who received the prestigious All Means All World Award 2025 on July 26, has spent more than two decades in service, rising through the ranks with honour and purpose.

Jared Ojuok was born in 1976 in East Kasipul, Homa Bay County, Kenya. His early education began at Otel Primary School in 1983, where he completed his KCPE in 1990.
He went to Homa Bay High School in 1991-1994 then proceeded to the University of Nairobi, 1996-2000 where he graduated with B.A Hons in the year 2000.
Ojuok holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University.

He also possesses a Diploma in National Security from the Galilee International Management Institute (GIMI) in Israel and a Diploma in Police Science from Histadrut, Israel.

Jared Ojuok began his distinguished career in the National Police Service on 3 March 2001, when he was enlisted into the General Service Unit (GSU) as a Police Constable.
He later served as an instructor at the GSU Training School before being transferred in 2009 to Police Headquarters, where he worked in the Office of the Police Spokesperson as a Communications Officer.
Ojuok currently serves as the Staff Officer for Public Relations within the Kenya Police Service.
Through unwavering dedication and commitment, he has steadily risen through the ranks to his current position as Senior Superintendent of Police.
Widely respected for his efforts in promoting peace, professionalism, and ethical standards in policing, Ojuok was awarded the Head of State Commendation (HSC) in recognition of his exemplary service.
He is also a distinguished law enforcement officer and humanitarian, currently serving as the President of the International Police Association (IPA), Kenya Section.
The IPA is a non-governmental organisation that brings together serving and retired police officers—regardless of rank, gender, race, language, or religion.
Its mission is to foster friendship, promote international cooperation, and enhance the public image of policing through social, cultural, and professional engagement.
As a passionate advocate for international solidarity, Ojuok has played a key role in strengthening ties with IPA chapters worldwide, advancing mutual support, global understanding, and friendship among police officers.

A Policeman with a Pen and a Heart for Humanity
Beyond his official responsibilities, he is deeply involved in humanitarian work, supporting initiatives focused on vulnerable populations such as children, youth, and displaced families.

As a role model and mentor, Ojuok inspires countless junior officers to pursue excellence, embrace integrity, and uphold the noble calling of policing with pride and purpose.
He is also the author of the book When the Ancient Tree Falls, which was officially launched on 1 April 2022.
Jared’s first novel, When the Ancient Tree Falls, is set in a remote Kenyan village called Mumbo and depicts the traditional political, socio-cultural, and economic life of the Luo community.
The story is about the accomplishments of Ngode Aganyo, a pre-colonial community leader in the land of Mumbo, a confederation of six related clans.
He was a great warrior and a judicious leader who led his family with love and firmness that made him the epitome of good morals and economic attainment within his community.
