In a world where computer skills are vital, individuals including students need to improve their computer technology skills to stay relevant in the job market. And now, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Industrial Park has announced a 2-week computer training programme intended to benefit individuals past the secondary education level.
The September-October intake for the Computer Repair and Assembly programme is ongoing for interested members of the public. The training will be two hours long and will take place every day from Tuesday to Thursday starting from 5pm to 7pm.
According to JKUAT, the training will be conducted by professional engineers and technicians who will cover topics on computer components and functions, hardware testing, software installation, and practical assembly on an actual assembly line.
Requirements Needed for the Programme
Anyone interested in the programme needs to have basic computer skills and students in high school and beyond can attend. On cost, the programme is available at Ksh 20,000 per person.
