“The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, released approximately 13,000 transcripts for students who sat the January–February 2026 Final Qualifying Examinations (FQEs),” read the statement in part.

KMTC Releases 13,000 Transcripts for Graduates
KMTC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kelly Oluoch noted that the rising demand for graduates had informed ongoing reforms aimed at ensuring they do not miss employment opportunities.
“We are responding to requests from our students who require these documents to pursue job opportunities. Previously, transcripts were issued during graduation, but we noted that this approach limited timely access,” he said.
He added that the College has implemented a coordinated distribution strategy to ensure efficient and timely delivery of transcripts across campuses.

According to Oluoch, the college prioritizes efficiency to ensure students receive their transcripts without unnecessary delays, noting that the transcripts are critical to their transition into the job market.
The College has also streamlined the collection process to enhance accessibility and convenience.
Graduates are advised to collect their transcripts from their respective campus Heads of Department (HoD) offices.
They are required to present a valid identification card, with no additional fees charged for the service.
KMTC noted that in recent years it has invested in digitizing academic records and decentralizing services to meet the growing demand for timely access to transcripts.
“The institution continues to receive numerous requests from recruitment agencies for authentication and verification of academic documents, reflecting the strong global demand for KMTC graduates,” the notice read further.

The announcement comes after the introduction of a new initiative in 2025 that allows graduates to collect their Final Qualifying Examination transcripts from any of the 88 KMTC campuses across the country.
Graduates from KMTC are no longer required to travel to Nairobi to access their transcripts.
The announcement was made on March 9, with KMTC confirming that the first batch of 10,000 transcripts for students who sat their FQEs in January 2024 were successfully distributed to the various campuses by March 4.
