Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its portal for the first revision, allowing students to reapply for available slots after the initial placement cycle.

The placement body has now excluded programmes and institutions that are already full, meaning applicants can only select the available programmes in the selected institutions.

The Kenya Times has identified that only two public universities, Garissa University and Turkana University College, offer Bachelor of Education Science under the KUCCPS listing.

Students wishing to pursue a degree in Education Science can choose between the two universities during the revision, as they are the only ones available on the KUCCPS portal.

Turkana University College also stands out as it is the only public university in the KUCCPS listing that offers the Bachelor of Education (Arts).

Turkana University Cut-Off Points for Education Science and Arts

For the Bachelor of Education Science, Turkana University College posted a cut-off point of 31.602 in 2020, then dropped to 22.636 in 2021 and 22.358 in 2022. The cut-off later rose to 24.164 in 2023 and later to 22.627 in 2024.
