A section of Nairobi residents in select estates risk losing their homes after Embakasi Developers Ltd issued a 30-day eviction notice to all current occupants of plots on Nairobi/Block 263/4091–4807 in Mukuru Kwa Njenga.
The notice urges them to regularize their ownership or face immediate eviction.
In a notice dated August 5, 2025, the company announced that title deeds for the specified parcels, including L.R. Nos. 7109/3, 7109/4, 7109/5, and 7109/7, are now ready for issuance.
However, it warned that individuals who fail to act within 30 days will be considered unauthorized occupants and required to vacate the plots.
“This is a final reminder to all persons who have not regularized their ownership to do so within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice,” the notice read.
The company further prohibited any commercial use or further development of the land unless ownership is first regularized.
