The National Police Service (NPS) has issued an update on the upcoming police recruitment exercise scheduled to begin nationwide on Monday, November 17, 2025.
In a notice dated Friday, November 7, the NPS clarified that there have been additions and corrections to some of the recruitment centers listed in the original announcement published on October 31, 2025, in the Daily Nation, The Standard, and The Star newspapers.
“Pursuant, the National Police Service wishes to bring to the attention of the public that the following additions and corrections have been made to the recruitment centers for police constables,” read part of the notice.
NPS Issues Corrections on Police Recruitment Centres Ahead of Nationwide Exercise
According to the updated notice, ex-National Youth Service (NYS) candidates may now present themselves for recruitment either at their respective home sub-county recruitment centers or at the NYS Headquarters in Ruaraka, Nairobi, which was inadvertently omitted from the initial list.
Additionally, the NPS corrected the details of two recruitment centers previously listed in Kajiado and Narok counties. In Kajiado West, the recruitment will now take place at Elangata Wuas DCC’s Office instead of Ole Polos, while in Narok West, the correct venue is Ng’osuani Centre.
The National Police Service stressed that all other details in the earlier advertisement remain unchanged.
