Former Radio Kiss FM Presenter Andrew Kibe has called out former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko for chasing clout on social media instead of creating a meaningful brand for himself.
In viral video that Andrew Kibe created after Sonko told him to stop meddling in his private life, the controversial media personality said the politician has nothing to show off.
Kibe told Sonko to use the opportunities he gets to travel around the world to learn new things that can help improve Kenya roads, factories, streets, and brands.
“You are some who can travel the world and see how things are done there outside, see how the roads ate done, the industries and the ideas for branding, the shops, then you come and let your money work for you,” Kibe schooled Sonko.
Kibe went ahead to mention the Kaveve Kazoze hit makers, whom Sonko gifted clothes and a gig to perform at his Mombasa club.
While he said it was a good move, he went ahead to criticize Sonko’s approach, claiming it enslaves the people to him. He argued that the former Governor should create something that will enable people to benefit by asking for handouts from him.
“Why are you not teaching the youths how you make your money. Or where did you get your money?
