Super Metro Chairman Nelson Mwangi has surprised passengers plying Nairobi routes from the Central Business district (CBD) with free rides and gifts for Valentine’s Day.
Mwangi got on the Super Metro buses before departure on Wednesday, February 14, expressing his gratitude and love to their loyal customers.
Before announcing the gift for his loyal customers, he appreciated them for their support for almost 10 years.
According to Mwangi, it was important for the company that their customers felt loved on Valentine’s Day because indeed, they loved and appreciated them.
“I want to express my gratitude for your support. We are almost clocking 10 years since we launched this business and you have stood with us.
“Because today is Valentine’s Day, on behalf of the other passengers who we cannot reach, we want to offer you some gifts as an expression of our love to you. And we do love you,” he said before distributing candy to the passenger.

Timeline For the Free Rides on Valentines
At the same time, Mwangi told passengers of select buses that the company would be paying their fares to whatever destination as a Valentine’s Gift.
“We will foot the fair of this ride from here in CBD until your destination as a thank you for your support and a celebration of love this Valentine’s Day,” he said.
However, the bus service noted that the free rides only lasted between 7:00am and 8:30am.
“Ours is to always thank you all for your continued support. We hope you enjoyed a free ride today morning from town which was from 7:00 am to 8:30am as a way of thanking you.

“Free rides straight from the CBD to the airport (JKIA) loading soon,” the bus service stated.
