Turkana County Announces 302 Job Opportunities: How to Apply

The county government of Turkana has announced job vacancies and welcomed applications from all qualified and interested individuals. 

In an advertisement on November 25, 2024, interested applicants are asked to submit their applications, CVs, copies of Certificates, Testimonials and Identity Card in a sealed envelope marked on the left side of the position being applied for and addressed to the secretary, Turkana County Public Service Board, P.o. Box 05. Lodwar, – 30500.

Notably, they should be delivered by hand at the reception desk at the Turkana Country Public Service Board Offices Located along Nawaitorong Road opposite Lodwar Club located off Kitale- Lodwar highway to reach the undersigned on or before Monday, December 9, 2024, on or before 5.00 pm.

Furthermore, the advertisement notice clarified that only those candidates who will be shortlisted will be contacted.

In addition, the notice advised that candidates with foreign certificates should seek an equation certificate from the Commission of University Education to be eligible.

Moreover, they warned that any form of canvassing or lobbying will lead to automatic disqualification.

Department of Public Service, Administration and Disaster Management

Under this department, there are nine vacancies which include:

1. Security Warden 1- 29 positions.
2. Deputy Director Humana Resource Management and Development – 1 position
3. Human Resource Management and Development Officer I – 5 positions.
4. Human Resource Management and Development Officer II – 1 position
5. Human Resource Management Assistant III – 2 positions
6. Records Management Officer II – 2 positions
7. Records Management Officer III – 1 position
8. Clerical Officer I – 16 positions
9. Office Administrative Assistant II – 10 positions

All the job positions above are permanent and pensionable except Deputy Director Humana Resource Management and Development – 1 position
