Migori County Public Service Board has announced 554 job vacancies across its different departments.
The county wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the various positions as per the Constitution of Kenya 2010 under Article 176 and the County Governments Act No. 17 of 2012 Section 59(1)(b).
At the same time, the board seeks to recruit 411 casual or general workers, 25 Assistant Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) Teacher and 16 Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse.
Furthermore, the County is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the positions of an Assistant Fisheries Officer III, Administration Officer II, Registered Clinical Officer, and Assistant Agricultural Officer III, with four posts available for each position.
The board is also looking to hire qualified candidates for several positions, including Medical Laboratory Technologist, Accountant II, Plant operator II, and Supply Chain Management Officer II. Each role has three openings available.

Other positions that require three candidates each include Public Communications Officer II, Fisheries Officer, Youth Polytechnic Instructor III, Medical Officer, Artisan III, ICT Assistant III, Licensing Officer/Administrative officer and Veterinary Officer
Additionally, the County seeks to fill two positions each for a Pharmaceutical Technologist, ICT Officer, Animal Health Officer, Coxswain/Fisheries Assistant II, Revenue Clerk/Clerical Officer I, and Gender & Social Development Officer.
Among other positions requiring two individual each are Pharmaceutical Technologist, Nutrition & Dietetics Technologist, Assistant Engineer Electricals and Physiotherapist.

The board further advertised vacancies for Clerical Officer I (Sports), Sports/Social Welfare Officer II, Director of Supply Chain Management, and Assistant Director of Fisheries & Blue Economy.
Additional vacant positions include that of an Assistant Director of Fisheries, Assistant Director of Education, Chief Officer Monitoring and evaluation, Radiographer, and Director of Gender Inclusivity and Social Services.
The recruitment also covers Chief Officer water and energy, Chief Officer Public Works and Infrastructure Development, Inspector of Ground Water, Chief Officer for Cooperative Development and Marketing, Inspector of Water, and Engineer II (Electricals).
Chief Officer- Gender Inclusivity and Social Services, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Agricultural Assistant, Hydrologist, Animal Health Officer, and Assistant Public Health Officer positions have also been advertised.
Other openings include Assistant Director of Human Resource Management (HRM), Sub County Administrator (Awendo), Pharmacist, Animal Health Assistant, Livestock Production Officer and Agricultural Officer.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original and certified copies of their identity cards, academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and any relevant professional regulatory requirements.
Successful candidates will also need to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by providing clearances from various agencies, including Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Others include clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and certificate of compliance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
