Embu County has a total of 334,302 registered voters spread across its four constituencies according to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Manyatta Constituency leads with 106,588 registered voters, making it the most populous in terms of voter registration.
It is followed by Runyenjes with 95,326 voters. Mbeere South registers 77,264 voters, while Mbeere North has the smallest number with 55,124 registered voters.
The political representation of Embu County is divided among four members of parliament.
Manyatta Constituency is represented by John Gitonga Mwaniki of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Runyenjes Constituency’s MP is Eric Muchangi Njiru, also from UDA. Mbeere South’s parliamentary seat is held by Bernard Muriuki Nebart, an independent candidate.
Additionally, Geoffrey Kariuki Kiringa represents Mbeere North Constituency and is affiliated with the Democratic Party (DP).
