Paul Lilan, MBS, is a Kenyan legal expert, Senior Counsel, and the Managing Partner at the Lilan Koech and Associates law firm, as well as the chairperson Capital Markets Tribunal.
He is widely recognized for his leadership in commercial law and his recent candidacy for the position of a Court of Appeal judge in Kenya.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Paul holds a Master of Management and Leadership, earned in 2016 from the Management University of Africa.

In 1994, he attained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi and later earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law in 1995.
Paul was admitted to the roll of Advocates in 1996.
Paul Lilan Work Experience
Since 2023, Paul has served as the Chairperson of the Capital Markets Tribunal.

He has been the Managing Partner of Lilan and Koech Associates since 2011.
Lilan also served as the Chairman and Founding Trustee of Crossroads Prison and Rehabilitation Ministries from 2005 to 2020.
In 2010, he assumed leadership as the Chairperson of the Kenya Industrial Property Institute, a position he held until 2013.
From 2000 to 2010, he was a Partner at Kipkenda, Lilan and Co. Advocates.
