Buga hit maker, Kizz Daniel, is currently being detained by Tanzanian authorities following his failure to uphold an agreement he had with the organizers of the Summer Amplified Show to perform at the well-publicized show on Sunday night.

The singer was reported to have arrived in the country earlier but refused to perform because of the unavailability of his clothes.
Angry Fans
Earlier, the concertgoers staged a mild protest by throwing bottles at the empty stage after paying as much as $5000 a table and waiting for hours for the Singer to perform, to no avail.
Kizz, has been called out twice, within a month over his abrupt cancellation of his concerts.
Disappointed fans went home angry in Tanzania after Buga crooner, Kizz Daniel was a no-show.
On July 7th, fans called him out for not showing up, after waiting for him for over five hours to perform at the AfroNATION U.S Classic tour sold-out concert in Maryland, U.S; he also got called out again after he cancelled another one of his concerts on July 20th in Denver, U.S.
History repeating itself
This is not the first time Nigerian artists have had run-ins with the Law in other African countries.
In December 2020, the authorities from Uganda, charged Nigerian artists Omah Lay and Tems for reportedly violating COVID-19 regulations at a music event.
The authorities said official charges against Tems and Omah Lay were for ‘Negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious disease under C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.
They were arrested after they performed at a sold-out music event.
