An autopsy has revealed that two men, James Muraga Maina (29) and Daniel Njoki, were forced to swallow raw maize and approximately one litre of chilli pepper before they died in Kahawa West, putting police on the spot.
The two men were killed in Kahawa West in an incident that has sparked widespread shock and outrage, as investigators have named a senior administration police officer, a sergeant, and the farm owner as the prime suspects in the deaths.
Autopsy Results After Police Killings
According to reports, the autopsy results have revealed that the victims were allegedly struck with a blunt object and forced to swallow raw maize and chilli pepper.
Additionally, post-mortem examinations revealed that approximately one litre of uncooked maize mixed with red and green peppers was consumed under duress, stressing the deliberate and brutal nature of the attack.
“The pathologist confirmed that the two had swallowed undigested food, including whole maize and whole raw pepper, indicating that they were forced to swallow them, which made them die immediately,” activist Hussein Khalid confirmed the autopsy results.
Families Demand Answers
Grieving families of the two victims gathered alongside their lawyers, IPOA officials, and activists to demand answers over the tragic deaths.
The incident reportedly occurred after James and Daniel allegedly trespassed into a maize farm in Kahawa West, where the farm owner confronted them.
Eyewitnesses say the confrontation quickly escalated, involving a senior administration police officer and a sergeant who were present at the scene.
