MultiChoice Group, a Canal+ company, has announced new DStv package prices in Kenya, with football fans set to pay KSh3,000 for the package offering all Premier League matches from November 5, 2026.
In a statement on October 26, MultiChoice said the changes reduce DStv’s package line-up from six to four, with prices ranging from KSh750 to KSh7,300.
The new packages are DStv Starter at KSh750, DStv Select at KSh1,500, DStv Sports at KSh3,000 and DStv Ultimate at KSh7,300. They will be available on satellite and DStv Stream, offering different channel selections for entertainment and sports viewers.
“The new line-up introduces four DStv packages: DStv Starter at KES 750, DStv Select at KES 1,500, DStv Sports at KES 3,000 and DStv Ultimate at KES 7,300 and are designed around how customers watch today, with clearer choices, more accessible content and more value across the line-up,” the statement partly confirmed.
New DStv Packages and Prices and How Much EPL Fans Will Pay
According to the company, DStv Starter offers up to 116 channels, including Maisha Magic Plus, Maisha Magic Loko, Cartoon Network, Disney Junior, La Liga and Novela+.
It also introduces SuperSport KICKOFF, which will broadcast selected live matches from major football leagues, including the Premier League.
DStv Select costs KSh1,500 and provides up to 149 channels. Its offering includes movie channels, local and international series, selected football and other sports, lifestyle content and children’s programming.
DStv Sports, priced at KSh3,000, offers up to 159 channels, including all Premier League matches, plus the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.
It will also feature WWE and UFC content, along with general entertainment channels available on DStv Select.
“DStv Sports, with up to 159 channels, becomes the first pack with ALL Premier League and UEFA Champions, Europa and Conference Leagues, WWE, and UFC for all the sports fans.”

DStv Ultimate will cost KSh7,300 and offer up to 180 channels. The premium package combines content from the Sports and Movies & Series packages with additional sporting events, including Formula 1, MotoGP, cricket, rugby, ATP tennis and golf majors.
Under the new line-up, subscribers seeking access to all Premier League matches will have the DStv Sports package at KSh3,000 as the specified option.
DStv Starter will carry selected live matches through SuperSport KICKOFF rather than the full Premier League offering.
MultiChoice Explains Why the Changes
Speaking during the launch, MultiChoice Kenya Chief Executive Officer Nzola Miranda said the company had reviewed its product portfolio to reflect changing customer needs and make entertainment more accessible.
“This marks a defining moment in our 30-year journey in Kenya,” Miranda said, adding that the revised packages were intended to provide greater value, more choice and an entertainment experience suited to Kenyan households.

The company also announced hardware promotions starting November 5. An HD decoder and satellite dish will retail at KSh1,500, while installation will cost KSh500.
New GOtv Prices
MultiChoice also outlined changes to its GOtv packages. GOtv Easy will cost KSh300 and offer 30 channels, including SuperSport KICKOFF, SuperSport Africa and selected local entertainment channels.
GOtv Starter will cost KSh750 and offer 47 channels, while GOtv Select will cost KSh1,500 with 66 channels. GOtv Sports will cost KSh3,000 and provide 73 channels, including Premier League and UEFA Champions League coverage.
