President William Ruto drove a sleek, KSh 15M Ineos Grenadier 2025 model SUV to Koilel Primary School to cast his vote in the UDA grassroots polls.

The rugged, boxy SUV is a modern successor to the classic Land Rover Defender, built by Ineos Automotive, the company founded by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The Grenadier is a British-built 4×4 designed for extreme off-road performance.

It is known for its rugged ladder-frame chassis, permanent four-wheel drive system, and high ground clearance, features that make it suitable for both urban roads and rural terrain.

Details of Ruto’s Ineos Grenadier 2025 Model

The Ineos Grenadier, driven by President William Ruto, is built for extreme durability and offers modern luxury and safety.

It is designed to handle both rugged rural terrain and smooth urban roads.

The car has a BMW 3.0L straight-six turbocharged engine with  281–286 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual override

It also has permanent four-wheel drive (4WD)

The petrol-powered Ineos Grenadier is electronically limited to about 159 km/h in standard trim

Price, Availability, and How to Order the 2025 Ineos Grenadier

The 2025 Ineos Grenadier’s base model SUV price in Kenya ranges from KSh 15 million to KSh 18 million, depending on specifications, optional features, model, and import duties.

It is sold in markets worldwide through a network of appointed retail partners and dealerships.

In Kenya, Wootton Automotive has been identified as the official Grenadier retail partner, offering local access to both new orders and pre-configured stock, as well as after-sales services.

The vehicle can also be purchased by ordering through the Ineos Grenadier official website.
