The Registrar of Companies, Damaris Lukwo, has issued official notices under the Companies Act confirming the dissolution and intended strike-off of 609 companies across Kenya.
The announcements, published in the Kenya Gazette, lists companies across multiple sectors, including technology, construction, aviation, energy, marketing, and real estate, potentially affecting employees, creditors, and clients.
The notices separate companies into three main categories: companies already dissolved, companies dissolved on their own application, and companies intended for dissolution (strike-off).
Stakeholders are urged to review the lists and respond where necessary, particularly for companies facing intended dissolution.
Registrar of Companies Issues Notice of Dissolved Companies

“PURSUANT to section 897 (4) of the Companies Act, it is notified for the information of the general public that the following companies are dissolved and their names have been struck off the Register of Companies with effect from the date of publication of this notice,” the gazette states.
