7 Family Members Die In Fire Incident

A family of 7 people died in a fire incident in Embu County.

The family including, a father, mother, two daughters a son and two grandchildren lost their lives on Saturday, October 1 night after fire razed their house.

Moreover, fire caught their three-bedroom house in Ngimari village, Embu County – that was made of timber- burning them beyond recognition. 

Runyenjes police officers have rushed to the scene of the incident where locals converged as a sombre mood covered the area. 

The cause of the fire which razed the family has not yet been established.

Nonetheless, this incident comes a week after another house was burnt to ashes in Gikuuri village, Runyenyes Constituency.
