Nakuru Police Commander Peter Mwanzo reported that the MP fought a fellow aspirant.
Likewise, Gikaria sent a group of suspected goons to Naka polling station but were driven away by police.
“This morning he appeared at the Lanet polling centre where he fought a fellow candidate. Later on in the afternoon, at Naka polling centre, he sent a group suspected to be goons but were chased away by police,” Mwanzo said.
According to Mwanzo, one person was hospitalized for injuries sustained in the fracas.
