Jubilee party has gone ahead and made a reorganization at the Nairobi County Assembly (NCA) Service Board.
The changes come in after the party had suspended three MCA’s said to undermine the party.
Member of County Assemblies Silvia Museiya, Ann Thumbi, and Millicent Jagero were summoned on November 27 by the Jubilee disciplinary committee.
Their position on the Nairobi City County Appropriation Bill, 2020 was put into question as they had gone against the party’s directive.
The party Secretary General Raphael Tuju confirmed the suspension and named the new members.
Board member Mark Ndung’u has been replaced by Charles Thuo while June Ndegwa has replaced Silas Matara in the Speaker’s Panel.
The reshuffle comes months after the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) made changes in the Nairobi County Assembly Service Board.
Nominated MCA Catherine Okoth replaced Nairobi West MCA Maurice Gari in representing ODM at the board. Mr. Gari, however, took charge as the new chair of the assembly’s ICT committee.
The reshuffle was done on August 20th.
