Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District representative Thomas Massie has ignited controversy after claiming that the Israeli intelligence, in collaboration with several U.S agencies, is influencing the delay in releasing the files connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
The remarks came during an interview where Massie was asked whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ties to President Donald Trump could be shaping decisions on the disclosure of Epstein-related documents.
Massie Explains
Massie, who has had a personal and very quarrelsome relationship with President Trump, stated that a lot is taking place behind the scenes and that all of it needs to be revealed.
“I think Israel is influencing the Epstein file release because Israeli intelligence and our own CIA was wrapped up with Epstein, and so it would be embarrassing to our own intelligence agencies as well as Israel’s intelligence agencies for all that to come out.”
Massie explained that despite efforts by several organizations and institutions to delay and destroy the Epstein files, the law must explain why they are classifying the files from the public.
He added that there are thousands of sex trafficking victims in the Epstein files and that there are dozens of “powerful” men and organizations, like banks, who should be criminally indicted for them, which leads to some of the files being in danger of being destroyed.
Massie stated that the court does not have enough resources to track down and conduct investigations on each individual or company associated with the sex trafficking case.
According to the congressman, even if investigations are opened, the U.S. bill states that any exclusion for an ongoing investigation must be narrowly tailored and temporary, further complicating the issue.
Not all Names to be Mentioned
When asked by presenter Emilie Hagen whether he had hopes that some names would be included in the files upon release, Massie immediately agreed without hesitation.
“I am very hopeful. These people have been getting away with these crimes and sick behaviour for years, but now, the entire American population is behind this. Americans have lost politically so hard, and it is all because of Trump.”
He reiterated that the individuals associated with the crimes are rich and powerful men, and the FBI is somehow reluctant to start an investigation before the files are released and names are mentioned.
“Whoever might be named may be a billionaire and he might sue them into oblivion for defamation. Furthermore, if the FBI has a list of 100 individuals and we can only name 20, they are only going to give us the 20 we name.”
He acknowledged that he does not know each individual who was involved in the sex trafficking ring and that some of the victims do not even remember the offenders, leading them to ask for the statements they wrote some time back, as they have passed through immense trauma.
How Jeffrey Epstein Got His Victims
Some critics have long come out to blame the female victims in the Epstein case, claiming that they brought the misfortune upon themselves.

But Massie responded, stating that the women were brave and did not know what was to come.
Girls were lured by their elder female schoolmates to offer massages to unknown individuals at their houses (mostly Jeffrey’s) for a $200 fee, but upon arrival, the girls realised that they had come to be abused sexually.
Jeffrey would keep calling these girls and asking them back, and, ashamed and afraid, the girls would seek a way out.

Jeffery would then offer them a way out by asking them to recruit another 14-year-old, and then they would have their way out.
That way, Jefferey had more and more girls that he would get to abuse at his house and ensure his sex trafficking went on.
