Israeli forces set off flares over the village of Rummanah, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, fires that destroyed several olive trees in Palestinian-owned orchards.
According to reports, the flares were fired near the illegal Israeli Annexation Wall as infantry units deployed in the area, accompanied by volleys of tear gas bombs.
The resulting blaze damaged groves belonging to Abdul-Qader Ahmad Sobeihat and Munir Sobeihat before Palestinian Civil Defense teams arrived to put out the flames.
Earlier in the evening, flares were also reported over Al-Mutilla, another village southeast of Jenin.
In a separate incident the same day, Israeli forces demolished a poultry farm and killed approximately 7,000 egg-laying hens in the village of Um al-Rihan, also west of Jenin.
Other Attacks
In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation authorities issued demolition orders for nine Palestinian homes in the village of Artas, some already inhabited and others still under construction.

Early on the morning of November 5, Israeli bulldozers launched another wave of demolitions targeting Bedouin communities in Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem.
A day earlier, Israeli authorities compelled two Palestinian families in Jerusalem to carry out self-demolitions: one family in Silwan was forced to tear down its own home, while another in al-‘Isawiya had to demolish a livestock shelter.
These incidents come amid Israel’s ongoing expansion of illegal settlements across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, construction widely condemned under international law.
Israel Retaliates Fiercely After Gaza Ambush Kills Master Sergeant
Israel’s Foreign Ministry, on October 29, confirmed the death of Master Sergeant (Res.) Yona Efraim Feldbaum, 37, was killed during a militant attack.
Feldbaum, a father of five from Zayit Ra’anan (Neria) in the Binyamin Regional Council, was operating heavy machinery when Palestinian militants ambushed his unit in the Jenina neighborhood of Rafah.
He was killed on the afternoon of October 28, 2025, in the Jenina neighborhood of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
“We mourn the loss of Master Sergeant (Res.) Yona Efraim Feldbaum… Our hearts are with his family and loved ones,” the Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“The incident represents a grave breach of the ceasefire agreement. The IDF will continue to defend Israeli citizens and act decisively against any threat to our forces,” the IDF said in a statement following the attack.
What the Law Says
While settlement building continues, Palestinians face restrictions preventing them from developing or expanding their own homes and communities.
Under international law, all Israeli settlements in the occupied territories are illegal.
The Fourth Geneva Convention and multiple United Nations resolutions classify the transfer of an occupier’s civilian population into occupied territory, as well as the destruction of civilian property, as war crimes.
Article 33 of the Convention forbids collective punishment and terror against civilians; Article 49 prohibits forced displacement and settlement transfer; and Articles 53 and 147 outlaw the destruction and seizure of civilian property.
