The Kenya Kwanza coalition has announced a line-up of teams to lead its campaigns in various parts of the country ahead of the August 9 polls.
Announcing the line-up on Sunday at his Karen residence, Kenya Kwanza Presidential candidate Deputy President William Ruto, said the teams will be tasked with coordinating seamless campaign activities of the coalition within their regions
Kwale governor Salim Mvurya and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi will lead the Kenya Kwanza campaigns in the Coast region.
UDA chairperson Johnstone Muthama and Machakos governor Alfred Mutua will take charge of the South-eastern region of Ukambani.
House Speaker Justine Muturi will lead the Mount Kenya East team while Kandara MP Alice Wahome and former Kiambu governor William Kabogo have been tasked with mobilizing the Mount Kenya west region.
Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika will team up with her Elgeyo-Marakwet counterpart in leading Kenya Kwanza campaigns in the Rift Valley region.
In Nyanza, Migori Governor Okoth Obado will together with Charles Nyachae take charge of the region.
Former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba will head the team that will oversee the Western Kenya region
The teams will be in charge of coordinating the presidential campaigns for William Ruto as well as those of other aspirants under the Kenya Kwanza coalition
