Revered journalist Janet Mbugua has opened up about some of the people she misses a lot.
Janet Mbugua who called it quits at Citizen TV in 2017 has revealed that she misses most of her colleagues but misses former co-host Hussein Mohammed.
These, the mother of two revealed in a candid interview with Plive.
Asked on what she misses a lot about TV, Janet said;
“Hussein Mohamed. I miss a lot of people I worked with at especially Citizen. Hussein was my co-anchor and the person I saw the most.”
This comes about five years after the two journalists stopped being co-hosts following Janet Mbugua exit from the station.
Hussein Mohammed remained at Citizen TV but just like Janet, he ditched the media house in 2019 to focus on personal businesses.
The Kenya Times understands Janet Mbugua has been working with different organisations to champion for women health and gender equality while Hussein Mohammed landed a job as UDA Head Of Communications.
Hussein and Janet were an amazing TV duo which kept many Kenyans glued to their screens.
During their time at Citizen TV, Janet and Hussein commanded massive following, in moves that gave the station a rise in viewership.
