CCTV footage from a popular entertainment club opened along Ngong Road has revealed the last moments of Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Eric Maigo.
According to detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the CCTV showed Maigo met three women at the club including a known suspect.
At the same time, the detectives conducted an analysis of the deceased mobile phone records and determined that he had sent money to a number of people on the day of his death.
One of the transactions was a Ksh650 money transfer to Cynthia Andalo who is in police custody. However, the two other women in the footage are yet to be identified.
Additionally, the police officers stated that Andalo was seen in the company of the main suspect in the investigations.

CCTV Reveals What Followed After the Ngong Road Club
After further investigations, detectives revealed that Maigo and the women left the Ngong Road club and went to another entertainment joint along Kilimani Road.
After leaving the Kilimani joint, the detectives stated that they went home to his Woodley house at around quarter past 10 pm on Thursday.
Cynthia Andalo was arrested and arraigned under miscellaneous application on Monday September 18, where police were allowed to hold her for five days as investigations continue.
Details of the Murder Weapon and Scene
Police officers recovered two kitchen knives next to Maigo’s body which both had the same sets of fingerprints.
This proved that the killer used two knives, stabbing the deceased 25 times on the neck, chest, face and other parts of his body.
However, the detectives are yet to establish whether the suspect stabbed Maigo with both knives simultaneously or one after another.

The death was reported by Nairobi Hospital CEO James Nyamongo through an internal memo after his body was discovered.
Earlier, police officers investigating the case suspected that the suspect may have escaped through the window of after committing the crime.
