Kevin Foster is an Associate Professor in the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics at Monash University. He is the author of Fighting Fictions: War, Narrative and National Identity (1999); Lost Worlds: Latin America and the Imagining of Empire (2009), and Don't Mention the War: The Australian Defense Force, the Government and the Afghan Conflict (2013). His latest book is Anti-Social Media: Conventional Militaries in the Digital Battlespace (2021).
